JURASSIC PARK
Genre: Action
Cast: Sam Neil, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum
Rating: PG-13
Epic Rating: 9/10
Jurassic Park is the start of the Modern Age of Film Making. It combines action, drama, fear, and a bit of comedy, and it all makes into one of the best films of the Modern Age. Stephen Spielberg outdoes himself yet again in this classic movie, scripting each scene as if he were living in it.
Jurassic Park is a intense story about a rich man, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) building a theme park containing living, breathing dinosaurs. But everything comes crashing down when the fences fail, and the cast must survive attacks from vicious dinosaurs. And on a side note, This is the first movie that used CGI technology, a milestone in film making.
This movie is a classic, no doubt about it. The dinosaurs look great for 1993, and the acting is spot on, aside from a few overblown screams at the beginning ("Shoot Her!!"). Jurassic Park is a classic, and should be on your "Bucket List for Movies".

Source Code
SOURCE CODE
Genre: Action/Thriller
Cast: Jake Gyllenahaal, Michelle Monaghan, Russell Peters
Rating: PG-13
EPIC RATING: 8/10
I'm a huge fan of these kind of movies. You are thrown into a situation where you have no idea of what is happening, and by the time the movie ends, You have solved the puzzle. Source Code is like The Matrix and Big having a baby. Director Duncan Jones does a great job making sure not to give any essential information away until the right moment, when he throws in right at your face. And i don't think anybody could of played the protagonist better in this movie than Jake did. His acting even made me feel like i was on the adventure with him.
Source Code is about an Army Pilot traveling back in time to stop a terrorist from destroying a train, and then Chicago. But here's the catch; He only has 8 minuets to complete this task. And to make matters worse, He has to figure out what his mission is. This movie is a good example of modern day acting and action. Sure, going back and hearing the same dialog got boring about the third time around, but it was worth it. It was essential to the story. And the sub plot with Jake's dad was a nice touch too.
Source Code is a very good movie. The acting is very good, and story line moves at a slow enough pace to make it interesting, but entertaining too. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

Welcome to Blogger!
Hey all, I'm Josh. I've been meaning to create a blog for a while now, but i was to doggone lazy to do it till now. So, i just did. What now XD. Anyways, this is Epic Reviews. It all started when I was on the huge critic website Rotten Tomatoes, and for some of the reviews, i thought "This is totally wrong, that was a great movie!" Now, mind you i am a teenager, and i may thing explosions are cool. Pretty cool in my book. But I can see through all that. For example, Avatar had amazing graphics, best in the world. But the plot line was not that strong. Some people just like a movie for the graphics and explosions. I look through all that. The Social Network (My favorite movie at the moment) has the best acting in a movie I've ever seen. The script must of been written by Stephen Spielberg's father or something, because it was beautiful. So, on this blog, im going to rate all sorts of movies, based on different factors. Thanks all =D
